Doc followed the law in Dodge City, but Wyatt ignored him, as some citizens found the friendship between Wyatt and Doc strange.

The Knuckleheads Saloon offered a nonsensical atmosphere focused on the music and characters of Wyatt Earp and his gang of outlaws. The music enthused the audience, held them under its spell in appreciative silence and animated them to spontaneous applause.
